Role summary and purpose:

You will:

  • Collaborate with the Product Engineering, Device Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations teams to develop high-value analytics and workflow solutions that increase efficiency, reduce failures, enhance yield, identify product capabilities and characteristics, detect and contain issues, model and predict production outcomes, and provide overviews and summaries to guide business decisions.
  • Administer enterprise data analytics software for internal customers: creation of report templates and custom scripts, integration of new data sources into existing databases, user training and support.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve ETL pipelines for product and process measurements, WIP updates, production flows and dispositions, and process configuration deliverables.
  • Test data infrastructure to ensure reliability and validate analytics solutions to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or equivalent.
  • College degree in a STEM field (or related experience).
  • Ability to independently develop, test, maintain, and document Python analytics solutions.
  • Proficiency using data analysis and manipulation libraries (Pandas, numpy).
  • Proficiency writing SQL directly or using ORM libraries (SQLAlchemy).
  • Proficiency using plotting libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly, d3).
  • Proficiency using revision control (git).
  • Ability to effectively communicate analytical process and conclusions clearly to management and engineering team.
  • Capable to contribute effectively on teams that may be geographically distributed.

Preferred, not required, qualifications:

  • Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related field.
  • MS in a discipline using analytical tools and techniques.
  • Enterprise Semiconductor Analytics Software (Exensio, DataPOWER, DataConductor).
  • Business Intelligence Software (Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Web Design for Dashboards (HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap).
  • Data Manipulation and Statistics Software (Excel, JMP, R, MATLAB).
  • Data Science Notebooks (iPython, Jupyter, Databricks).
  • Workflow Orchestration Software (Prefect, Luigi, Airflow).
  • Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
  • Network Security Certification for Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Design or Architecture of Relational Databases and/or NoSQL Databases.
  • Enterprise Business and Manufacturing Systems (MES/LIMS, ERP, SCM, etc.)
