Role Summary and Purpose:

As a key member of the Menlo Micro sales team, the Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting all stages of the sales cycle with administrative, sales, and logistical support to the internal sales team at Menlo Micro. An important function of this role is to provide world-class customer service to our direct customers and global sales channel partners, which includes manufacturer’s representatives, stocking representatives, and distributors.  

The Sales Operations Specialist will maintain effective communication with executives, managers, and cross-functional teams while provide outstanding support to internal and external customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team with the sales process from lead capture to after-sales support.
  • Manage and oversee CRM data to include Customers, Contacts, and Opportunities.
  • Process RFPs, quotes, sample requests, evaluation kit loaners (EVKs), PO processing, and initiate sales orders.
  • Track and monitor outstanding Loaner EVKs and coordinate Loaner EVK returns.
  • Support sales team activities for sales channel forecast meetings, document and publish forecast meeting notes defining follow-up action items and deliverable due dates.
  • Coordinate contract review as needed.
  • Organize and attend quarterly sales meetings.
  • Create, update, and maintain the quarterly sales meeting schedule, catering requirements, and sales meeting location and secure IT set up at the meeting location.
  • Assist with defining, managing, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOP) with a strong focus on consistency and process.  Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards are beneficial but not required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related function preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years of business experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with sales teams, sales partners, and/or B2B customers preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with intermediate MS Excel skills with the ability to learn.
  • Demonstrated history of working with cross-functional teams to include supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office programs: Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn & implement CRM tools and define new processes.
  • Previous Sales Operations, Sales Administration, or similar experience in technical/analytical sales or sales support.
  • Experience working in a start-up / highly interactive environment.
  • Ability to work and thrive in ambiguity.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Pay Range:

$80,000 to $90,000
