Role Summary and Purpose:

As a key member of the Menlo Micro sales team, the Sales Support Representative is responsible for supporting all stages of the sales cycle with administrative and logistical support to Menlo Micro’s sales teams and sales channel to include customers, manufacturer’s representatives & distributors.

This includes supporting sales operations and managing sales processes, CRM tools, RFPs, quote, sample and evaluation kit loaners, sales orders, quotes, contracts, PO processing and bookings. The role also involves assisting with maintaining standard processes and procedures, and coordinating events and meetings on an as-needed basis.

The Sales Support Representative will maintain effective communications with executives and managers across the company and provide outstanding customer support to internal and external customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ability to respond, set expectations, and react to internal and external customers professionally and clearly
  • Ability to balance simultaneous projects, evaluate workload, and prioritize tasks based on criticality
  • Demonstrates highest level of detail orientation and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency to attain and exceed desired results
  • Operates in a cooperative and collaborative spirit to achieve shared goals across multiple functions
  • Displays excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to articulate needs for process improvements
  • Other core competencies will be defined by the Senior Sales Operations Manager

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a business-related function
  • Minimum of 3 years of business experience
  • Preferred experience with sales teams, sales partners or b2b customers
  • Demonstrated history of working with cross-functional teams to include supervisors, peers, and subordinates
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs of software tools
  • Ability to learn & implement CRM tools & processes
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous Sales Support, Sales Administration, or related experience
  • Experience working in a start-up/ highly interactive environment
  • Ability to work and thrive in ambiguity
