Menlo Micro is setting a new standard for electronic switches with its breakthrough Ideal Switch® technology—the first major innovation in over 30 years. This chip-scale platform overcomes the performance and scalability limits of traditional switches, enabling smaller, faster, more reliable, and energy-efficient systems. From AI data centers and quantum computing to aerospace, defense, and power electronics, Menlo Micro’s technology removes bottlenecks, lowers total cost of ownership, and unlocks new possibilities across the most demanding applications.
We’re looking for talented, driven individuals who want to make a real impact. Join a collaborative, fast-paced team backed by industry leaders, and help build cutting-edge technology that is shaping the future of electronics.
The Director, Test and Product Engineering will lead a team responsible for defining, developing, and deploying test strategies for advanced MEMS switch products. This role requires strong technical expertise in MEMS or semiconductor test methodologies, leadership in managing cross-functional teams, and strategic vision to scale test infrastructure to meet quality, yield, and cost targets.
As manager of the New Product Introduction (NPI) Test Team, you will play a critical role in developing cutting-edge, ATE test solutions for both wafer and package-level tests. Additionally, you will develop reliability test systems to support product qualification. You will be directly responsible for all aspects of the production test development process and ensure timely development and release-to-production of Menlo Micro test solutions. You will work together with a team of test, design, packaging, product and application engineers in both the power and RF product lines.
Additionally, you will manage the NPI Product Engineering Manager. In this role you will ensure the product and test engineers are working together to release products through characterization and test capability. New product engineers lead products by partnering with design engineers and work with New Technology Introduction (NTI) regarding yields, failure analysis, characterization and qualification. The product engineers will verify new test programs, communicate and address issues with solutions as the devices are validated to the specifications targeted.
You will report to the Vice President of the NPI team and collaborating with various departments throughout the company. You will directly impact critical roadmaps, create new product test solutions and close Phase 4 in our phase gate process to release new products to production. Projects will encompass portions of design, characterization, packaging test, RF, electrical, mechanical, and test considerations, along with data analysis, reliability testing, and root cause problem solving needed to validate the designs created in NPI and launch them into production.
This is a management role, however hands-on guidance is required.
