MM3100 – 3GHz 6 Channel SPST RF Micro Switch ​

Description:
The MM3100 device is a high power, normally open (NO), six-channel Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) micro-mechanical switch for RF and microwave switch applications. Innovations in the switch material system enable robust and highly reliable switches capable of > 25 W and is an ideal replacement for pin diode switches in high power radio applications.  Each switch provides ultra-low on-state insertion loss and high off-state isolation from DC to over 3.0 GHz with greater than 3 billion switching cycles. Each switch can be individually controlled by a standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) synchronous bus.  Flexibility of six SPST switches enables implementation of different signal topologies such as dual SP3T, triple SP2T or 2 x 3 matrix. An external 5.0 V logic supply and high voltage 75 V bias source is required for operation.

MM3130 – 3GHz 6 Channel SPST RF Micro Switch ​

Description:

The MM3130 device is a high power 6-channel SPST micro-mechanical switch offered in a 36 mm2 BGA package. It is a derivative of the MM3100, removing the internal SPI controller and providing direct gate access for each of the six switches.

The MM3130 can be used to replace multiple electro-mechanical high power RF relays or PIN diodes in a variety of end applications. Given its small form factor, significant power handling capability, and ultra-low DC and RF losses, the MM3130 can bring significant size and weight reductions to High Power Radio designs.

The unique Through Glass Via technology provides low on and off state parasitic enabling high Q resonator circuits. In addition, Menlo’s Ideal Switch Platform provides a 1000x increase in reliability over typical electromechanical relays.

MM5130 – DC to 18GHz SP4T ​

Description:

The MM5130 device is a high power SP4T micro-mechanical switch offered by Menlo Micro. Menlo Micro has developed a new Ideal Switch fabrication process and applied it to DC and wideband RF/microwave switch applications. 

This innovative technology enables robust and highly reliable switches capable of greater than 25 W forward power. The MM5130 provides ultra-low insertion loss and superior linearity from 18 GHz down to DC, with greater than 3.0 billion switching cycles guaranteed at +85ºC. 

The MM5130 is an ideal solution for replacing large high power RF electromechanical relays, as well as RF/microwave solid-state switches in applications where linearity and insertion loss are critical parameters. The four switch channels are individually controllable by applying voltage to the corresponding RF GATE pin.

MM5120 – 12GHz High-Power RF SP4T Switch

Description :

The Menlo Micro MM5120 is the world’s first generally available high-power RF SP4T micro-mechanical switch. Menlo Micro has developed a new fabrication process and applied it to DC and wideband RF/microwave switch applications. 

This new innovative technology enables robust and highly reliable switches capable of greater than 25 W CW power handling at 6.0 GHz. The MM5120 provides ultra-low insertion loss and superior linearity from 12 GHz down to DC, with greater than 3 billion switching cycles guaranteed at +85 °C. Integrated high voltage generation simplifies usage when only a single low voltage is required for operation.

The MM5120 is an ideal solution for replacing large high power RF electromechanical relays, as well as RF/microwave solid-state PIN diode switches where linearity and insertion loss are critical parameters.
